Overview:
Your 4stay portal dashboard provides an interactive, at-a-glance view of how your off-campus housing page is performing β including traffic, sign-ups, requests, bookings, and rent data. This guide helps you understand what each number means and how to explore trends over time.
π What the Metrics Mean
Metric | What It Tracks |
Page Visits | Total times your portal was viewed. Reflects the impact of promotion and visibility. |
Sign-Ups | Number of students and hosts who created accounts through your portal. |
Requests | Total inquiries students sent to property listings. |
Bookings | Confirmed, paid reservations. |
Avg. Monthly Rent | The average rent amount from successful bookings β helps gauge affordability. |
π How to Use the Dashboard
The analytics dashboard is fully interactive. Here's how to explore it:
β View Trends by Category
Click on any metric β for example, Page Visits, Sign-Ups, Requests, or Bookings β to see a month-by-month chart.
The darker bars show current-year data.
The lighter bars show the same months from the previous year (if available).
π Change the Reporting Year
Use the βYearβ dropdown in the top-right corner of the dashboard to switch between different years.
This is useful for comparing performance over time or checking seasonal patterns.
π Quick Tips
Use spikes in Page Visits to measure how well email campaigns or flyer distribution worked.
Track Sign-Up to Booking conversion rates to assess student engagement.
Look for request spikes without bookings β this may signal a need for more listings or better listing quality.
Watch for drop-offs after peak traffic β this may be a good time to send a reminder email.
